We are proud to introduce our highly regarded Charter School located in beautiful Frisco Texas. Leadership Prep School is now off and running in our sixth school year and we are now serving kindergarten through the ninth grade for the 2016-2017 school year! We have an incredible staff of professional certified teachers and administrators who are diligently working with our wonderful group of students. LPS is committed to academic excellence. We are learner-centered where classroom teaching is prized. We train students to be grounded in the world of leadership, values, history, ethics, arts, music, communication, and creativity. The most important assets on the LPS campus are our students and our well-prepared, highly-motivated faculty. We expect the faculty to model excellence for our students while challenging them to pursue excellence in all areas of their lives. Please browse through our website to find out more about Leadership Prep School.

Leadership Prep School is a Charter School

A charter school is a nonsectarian public school of choice that operates with freedom from many of the regulations that apply to traditional public schools. The "charter" establishing each such school is a performance contract detailing the school's mission, program, goals, students served, methods of assessment, and ways to measure success.

As a public school option, Leadership Prep will provide a free-tuition school and will have open enrollment. It will receive funding from the state and therefore will be accountable to state policies and the charter itself.

What will separate Leadership Prep from other schools?

The acronym P.L.A.C.E. summarizes the five key areas that have been selected as the focus of our vision: Parent partnership, Leadership development, Academics, Creativity and Excellence.

Parents are the fundamental educators of their children. Without strong communication and partnership with the parents, a school cannot achieve much. Students must also be actively taught how to lead themselves and others.

A proper understanding of leadership correlates to character, values and authority. Academics of the highest caliber incorporating current research into the structure of our curriculum and classrooms are also a high priority, but with a much more creative approach than is used in most schools. Creativity breeds excitement, and learning can and should be fun.

Lastly, everything that we do will center on excellence. By creating a school with a mindset of excellence, we want the students to integrate that into everything they do, from school to sports to work to family. We believe that we really can make a difference – with your help.
